1996 Sam Perkins Game-Used Twice-Signed Seattle SuperSonics Reebok Sneakers BAS

Introduction

Presented is a pair of Seattle SuperSonics Reebok sneakers game-used by Sam Perkins in 1996-97. The University of North Carolina alum had one of his most impressive seasons in 1996-97, recording 11.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 24.4 minutes per game. In his age-35 season, Perkins appeared in 81 games for the SuperSonics, helping them achieve the number-one seed in the Western Conference. The offered black and white colorway sneakers exhibit scuffing near the toebox and heel, creasing on the left sneaker, and discoloration throughout. Rebook manufacturer’s logos can be found on the medial and lateral sides of the sneakers as well as on the heel, outsole, and tongue. Perkins penned his flowing signature on the mudguard of each sneaker in black marker. According to MEARS the sneakers exhibit heavy wear.
